This application allows you to practice the Pomodoro method, which involves sessions consisting of work cycles interspersed with breaks.

To learn more about the Pomodoro method, go here

I didn't implement all the real Pomodoro technique, but especially the fact of doing a cycle of work > small break > work > ... > long break, in order to focus on one or more tasks to do.

This was a small project to practice with Godot, but if you have any improvements/bugs/feedback, feel free!

How to use

Hover the book on the bottom to know wich element is interactive

Coffee Machine : Show the Session Creator. Write the number of cycle (one cycle is work > break), the length in minute of each cycle, and click on start to launch the session

Book on the left : Credits of the game

Plant on top : Options. Here you can adjust the volume and choose if you want the music stop when on pause cycle.

UPDATE [13/02/2025]:

You can now pause a session. When a session is playing, press the "Pause" icon on top of the screen.

There is a new "look" for the time and session state display, go to the Option menu if you want the timer on the coffee machine, like before.

thanks again Mei to show this application some love. As before, if you have any idea how to improve this tool, feel free !

i know it's been two years but is there any chance you can make it so you can pause the timer? i feel like that would make this worlds better. again, i still love it and it has gotten me through a lot of projects, academic and otherwise. thanks so much again for creating such a wonderful thing.

so i just downloaded the new update and my main complaint with the old design version of the new update (and i feel like i'm being nitpicky so don't worry about it too much) is that the text's position is moved more left and that there's a line under it now. I kind of liked the text placement and the lack of line that was in the previous design, also i'm not a big fan of the text scrolling out instead of it just appearing.

if i had any suggestions though for an update to anything, maybe just add a slider to how fast the text scrolls? like all the way fast is it just turns off the text scrolling or like... all the way slow is just really slow. or just being able to toggle it on and off is fine.

i can get used to the placement of everything just the text scrolling does make it hard to read a lil bit at times.

again, i feel like i'm being nitpicky so don't worry too much, i really like the new update and i appreciate it greatly, i am really really happy with how it turned out.

Be nitpicky, the tools is made by me for users ! And now, changes are easier. I updated it, no separation line, optionnal text scrolling (off by default), and i move the text / time to the right, closer to the old look. Enjoy and don’t hesitate to give me feedback !

I love this tool, the calming music, it's ease of use, thank you for making such a masterpiece

edit: a year later and i still can't find anything quite like it, it has the right amount of calm with little distractions
